Siminetti supplied our freshwater Natural mother of pearl to the Lalit London. The Lalit London is a luxurious hotel situated on the South Bank of London and occupying the former home of a renowned London grammar school. You can check out the stunning hotel here
The stunning Harmonie guise was the styling of choice to define the ceilings in the guest’s Teacher’s Lounge. Standard forms of Mother of Pearl mosaic tiles would be unsuitable due to the requirement for grouting between the mosaic tiles and the risk created with the potential for the grout to fall away.
The Siminetti Harmonie series, removed the requirement for grout as each mosaic piece is placed against each other, offering a safe solution to the client’s requirements, whilst still ensuring the luxury and feel that Mother of Pearl offers. The ceiling areas were completed using paper-faced sheets ensuring 100% of each mosaic piece was fixed into the substrate adhesive
The mother of pearl used to make the mosaics supplied to the LaLit – and all our other surfaces – are sourced from eco-friendly, sustainable sources, are exceptionally strong and are suitable for wall and floor surfaces. Our mosaics collection offers a unique form of decoration, unrivalled by man-made products. All of our mosaics are resin sealed, making our tiles effortless to clean and exceptionally strong, suitable for both wall and floor surfaces. Siminetti’s mosaic tiles are suitable for internal use and perfect for wet areas, feature walls and spas. The collection includes fourteen freshwater and five saltwater mother of pearl mosaic tiles available in up to twelve different styles ensuring a striking look in any environment. All Siminetti mosaic tiles carry BS EN ISO Certification.
