Siminetti Shortlisted for 2021 SBID International Design Award

The SBID International Design Awards finalists for 2021 have been revealed, boasting an impressive shortlist of award-worthy entries across Interior Design, Product Design and Fit-Out. Siminetti is pleased to announce that is among the impressive global design talent to have become a finalist in this year’s SBID International Design Awards with The Seasons Collection. This is the second consecutive year we have been shortlisted in the Surfaces & Finishes category!

Siminetti; artisans of luxury sustainable mother of pearl surfaces, unrivalled by man-made materials and found in many of the World’s leading hotels, private homes, spas, palaces, commercial premises and superyachts. The Seasons Collection has been designed in conjunction with Chrisanna of London, it is truly the next generation of mother of pearl sustainable decorative surfaces. Consisting of twelve designs inspired by nature, available in either Golden Promise saltwater pearl or Innocence saltwater pearl on a Bianco freshwater base. All of Siminetti’s decorative panels are incredibly light in weight, produced to the client’s exact dimensions, require no grouting making them a hygienic solution and can be used internally or externally.

Considered one of the most prestigious accolades in the interior design industry, success in the GOLD-standard Awards programme demonstrates the highest level of design excellence across the commercial and residential sectors. From the design scheme, materials used and products specified through to the final fit-out installation, the SBID Awards champion design standards across the supply chain in the design, procurement and execution of outstanding interiors.

Each finalist has been evaluated by industry-leading experts for functionality, technical merit, creative delivery and ability to inspire; highlighting the value that expert interior design and specialist craftsmanship can bring to businesses, homes and society as a whole.

Siminetti are hugely proud of being a finalist in the SBID Product design awards for the second year running! The team have gone above and beyond in the development and delivery of the most exclusive surface finishes available internationally, and being finalists two years running is proof of this.

To complete the final stage of the judging process, the public are now invited to vote for their favourite projects at www.sbidawards.com. Accounting for an influential 30% of the results, the ultimate end-users of design have the final say in which entries go on to receive a prestigious SBID Award. Culminating with a captivating ceremony in London’s latest luxury lifestyle destination, the winning entries will be announced and awarded with a bespoke crystal trophy designed exclusively by Sans Souci Glass Deco at the Nobu Hotel Portman Square on Friday 22 October 2021.
