Elevating a Galley Splashback with Siminetti Harmonie Mosaics

The Brief
Setag’s mission was to transform the original layout of a Broom 42CL from the 2000’s, including adding luxury to all areas. The objective was to take a bland, uninspired beige yacht, and turn it into a stunning, high-end, one-of-a-kind space that truly stands out.
The client wanted a vibrant and very unique space reflecting their bold personality and distinctive style. The vision for this transformation was embodied by the theme:
“Why blend in, when you can stand out.”
BEFORE
Galley Remodelling
The Galley area was completely remodelled and what was a very neutral and practical kitchen area was turned into a space with gorgeous personality and design flair.
The traditional ‘woody’ finish was transformed into a modern colour scheme featuring white and pearl tones, resulting in a sophisticated and timeless look.
Siminetti’s mother of pearl mosaics in Bianco Herringbone from our Harmonie series were selected to create a new dazzling splashback. Larger cupboards repainted in a contemporary colour, a new worktop and floor completed the transformation.

Choice of Siminetti Mother of Pearl Surface
The kitchen splashback aboard the yacht has been beautifully transformed using Siminetti’s groutless Herringbone mother of pearl mosaic tiles.
This innovative design eliminates the need for grout, creating a seamlessly elegant appearance while maintaining a textured feel between each tile.
The stunning Bianco pearlescent white of the mother of pearl material introduces a luminous quality to the galley area, enhancing its sophistication and inviting ambiance.
The unique herringbone pattern not only adds a chic touch but also exudes flair, making it a standout feature.
